Transferring personal data to the U.S.

Security of your information

Gigue uses administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

Gigue retains personal data for different periods depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it is processed:

  • Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account plus a reasonable period thereafter for business and legal purposes

  • Service Usage Data: Retained for the duration of the customer's business relationship with gigue and for a period of time thereafter to analyze the data for our own operations, and for historical and archiving purposes

  • Marketing Data: Retained until you opt-out, we determine it no longer has business value, or you request deletion

  • Legal and Compliance Data: Retained as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations

All personal data that gigue controls may be deleted upon verified request from Data Subjects or their authorized agents, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

Children's data

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 18 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
